The Bronx RHIO is creating an electronically connected community of providers where healthcare can be delivered more effectively and efficiently to the 1.36 million people who live in the Bronx. Thanks to the vision and commitment of its participant organizations, the Bronx RHIO is increasingly being recognized as a leading model for secure, interoperable health information sharing.
As a not-for-profit organization supported by limited resources from its participant organizations and a grant from the New York State Department of Health, one of our challenges is to secure additional funding to pursue our mission and vision more effectively.
